Kiosk Mode

In Kiosk Mode, Circle Dock effectively becomes a read-only application and the following actions are prohibited by the software:

·     All further changes to Circle Dock's operating properties - you lose access to the Settings (or Properties) Dialog
·     You can not add Dock Items, either manually or by drag'n'drop
·     You can not edit Dock Items or change their display icons
·     You can not delete Dock Items
·     You can not move Dock Items, either within the current Level or promote or demote their Level
·     You can not sort Dock Items - change their display order

Make sure that you complete your Circle Dock configuration before enabling Kiosk Mode.

Be aware that Kiosk Mode is automatically enabled if Circle Dock is run from read-only media such as a CD or DVD ROM, you don't need to enable it.

To enable Kiosk Mode, go to the "Kiosk" Tab under "General" settings in the main Properties Dialog. You will need to enter a password twice - and the same password should be entered each time - and then click on the button.

You can disable Kiosk Mode if you are running Circle Dock from either a local fixed disk, a network drive or a USB thumb-drive by right-clicking on Circle Dock's Taskbar Icon (to the right of the system clock) and selecting "Settings". You will be asked to enter the password which should be the same as when you enabled Kiosk Mode. Case IS significant!
